Why can't we keep the same beauty standards?
Why do they have to change?
She is beautiful.
But she is skinny. That's more important.

I wish I knew what to say...I really did...But I am speechless...But I am praying hard for you...I know you will get through this.
Actually she's so skinny it's not healthy.
Perhaps when you've been around as long as me you'll understand what I'm trying to say. It's what's on the inside of a person that makes them beautiful. Outward looks are nice but are fleeting.
What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition.
your beauty should come from within you—the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit that will never be destroyed and is very precious to God. 1 Peter 3:3-4
To me, that second picture is gross. It's repulsive. That's not beauty. I'm not saying that the girl isn't pretty, just what she made herself to be is not pretty in the least.
But I get what you're saying - with how it used to be where the first picture used to be beauty and now the second picture is beauty to so many people. But do you see how thin that girl is? It's gross.
